Three-time James Beard-nominated and “Top Chef” contestant John Tesar brings a fresh steakhouse dining experience to Knife restaurant at The Highland Dallas.

Our menus feature all-natural born and raised Texas meats, complementing “old school” classics like 45-day dry-aged sirloin and bone-in rib eye with “new school” evolutions that include culotte and flat iron. In addition to larger “slabs” of meat for group dining — including an 18-hour braised crispy pig’s head — Knife’s menu is rounded out by an extensive charcuterie program, bacon and ham tastings, sausages, sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes.

In addition to our sophisticated dining room, Knife offers a flagstone garden patio with outdoor seating and a fireplace. Our private dining room, with an expansive private lounge and fireplace, is available for special events.

Knife is open for dinner seven days a week and offers complimentary valet service.

Knife’s full bar offers Knife’s full menu, specialty cocktails, our signature modern take on classic cocktails, and local, craft, and import beers. We also have a 300+ label wine list and an on-staff Sommelier available nightly to assist guests in finding the perfect wine to complement their meal.

BE SURE TO LEAVE ROOM

Bringing your meal to a decadent close. Our sinful dessert menu is highlighted by “Brûlée 2.0,” an ice cream version of crème brûlée garnished with caramelized sugar and custard ice cream. Other standouts include our “Caramel Pretzel” with liquid caramel cake, Dulcey panna cotta, and pretzel ice cream.
